Excellent Events

One way that we promote our culture of teamwork is through our corporate events.  Every other month all employees in headquarters are encouraged to join in an event ranging from race kart driving, to paintball to attending a Giants or Warriors game.  We also host several volunteer events each year.  In 2013 we partnered with the Alameda County Foodbank and One Warm Coat to provide food and clothes to our local community.

    I have been working at Five9 full-time (more than 5 years)


    I have been at Five9 going on five years. I have never been so happy. I feel extremely comfortable with everyone on my team. We all seem to pull together to make it happen and help each other succeed. VP of SMB is awesome. He will push you if he think your slipping, but you know he wants you to succeed. My director is great, always ready to help me close a deal and take care of the fires when needed. I come from the dotcom era where it was not uncommon to change jobs every couple of years. I do not plan on leaving Five9 anytime soon.


    It is far from my home. I travel almost 100 miles a day just to get back and forth to work. It would be great if they had better work from home options.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I have never worked somewhere that I had no hesitation to go to the CEO if needed. The CEO and CFO always know you by name and make you feel like they are there for your needs and appreciate the part you play in the success of Five9

    Very well organized process. Recruiter was very professional, followed up and represented the company well. I was interviewed by 3 people individually for 30-40 minutes. All seemed to really enjoy working at five9.
