I have been working at Flex-N-Gate

    Pros

Management and staff are quite competent due to years of experience and management generally appreciates employees extra efforts, and in general look at difficulties as opportunities to improve versus a accusing culture. Company has great growth history, continues to grow in financial strength, and a genuine desire to provide quality and exciting products. Regarding compensation, benefits are competitive and vacation time off is almost always accomodated.

    Cons

Career opportunities throughout the corporation are not well advertised, even on the plant level. As an engineer, it would be helpful to improve knowledge of other plant's commodities and processes to improve overall competance of available product/process technologies and materials.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encouragement and praise is contagious -- keep it up!! See difficulties or disappointments as opportunities to improve product quality/excellence, customer service, and employee character and morale.

    Application Details

    I applied online – interviewed at Flex-N-Gate.

    Interview Details

Very simple. I sent my resume through Monster.com and within a day I was contacted for an interview, not a phone screen, and in-plant. The interview was scheduled for 5 days from the initial contact.

It was a group interview with 2 Maintenance Supervisors, the Area Manager of the area I was interviewing for, and the HR manager.....

Very simple, relaxed interview. 2 days later I had a job offer.....
