I have been working at FlipChip International full-time (more than 3 years)RecommendsNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEORecommendsNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEO
The pros are the family like atmosphere. It's great knowing your a person by name and not by a number. Everyone is approachable with an open door policy. HR and management is always available. I have friends that work for other companies where they have to make an appointments to see HR, we're lucky we don't have to deal with the big company politics. Company that promotes from within good solid team.
I wasn't aware of this site until it was mentioned in a meeting. How ironic I would have never considered posting comments until I read the negative and quite frankly untrue comments. If you have worked for flipchip current or in the past you know Mr. Forcier put together a team that he himself was proud of. flipchip has it's challenges but I feel management is putting forth their best efforts day in and day out for the better of the company. Guess working for a small company, it's a little more difficult to advance because of the limited positions if that's really a con?
Advice to Management
Mr. Forcier knew everyone by their first name and was highly visible. Pretty good practice to let everyone know we're all one company. Small company with big potential because of the people from the fab up to management.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks – interviewed at FlipChip International.
I had to apply through a staffing agency first, they forwarded my application to FCI. Within the same week my interview was scheduled with one of the shift supervisors. It was an easy typical interview. I was asked about my previous experience, asked if I'm familiar with what the company does, and asked why do I want to work there. One of the questions I remember was to describe my strengths and weeknesses.
- All the questions were typical interview questions and were not difficult to answer. Answer Question
