Job requires lots of time and effort

    Former Contractor - SI Leader/Tutor

I worked at Florida Atlantic University as a contractor (less than a year)

Working with peers at the university is a good experience to build interpersonal skills, and working at the place you go to school is convenient.

The pay is low, work for the job requires time and effort outside of paid hours, and sometimes students can be a pain to deal with.

    Positive Outlook

The hiring process is pretty straight forward. I simply walked in to inquire about open positions and was brought into the office of one of the assistant directors. They gave me a run down of the position and provided me an application.

The interview was predominantly comprised of basic interview questions regarding my resume followed by asking me to respond to "pretend" situations.

    Negotiation Details
No negotiation, they basically told me what I would be getting paid.
