    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Florida Department of State full-time (More than 10 years)

Over the past 30 years I have had the honor of working with professionals, government heads, and dealing with the public on a daily basis. I was given the opportunity to use my educational skills. I had the chance to keep an office running smoothly and efficient.

Not much pay and very little advancement.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to set clear goals, think about what your team should be working on, treat people with compassion, be sincere, speak clearly.

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Florida Department of State (Tallahassee, FL) in August 2010.

The interview was very casual, had to get fingerprints and background done, as well as drug test. Met with the interviewer in the lobby of they offices inside the Gray building. It was pretty short and sweet and ended with me signing papers for the background check and given papers for the fingerprinting. I was called shortly after all that was completed and started soon after.
