I have been working at Florida Hospital part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Many opportunities are provided to allow for both personal and professional growth. It is truly a blessing to be able to work with such high caliber people in MIS.

    Cons

Not any that I can think of! Amazing, but true! If I had to pick a con, since I am a part-time worker, I would love to have more projects to accomplish.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Florida Hospital.

    Interview Details

GN hiring process is very heavy on the flaming hoops you need to jump through. First, it's the online application via their Taleo site. Prepare to submit documents, including Resume and Unofficial Transcript. Then, if your application is "approved", you will be sent a link to one of those psychological personality screening exams (apps 100 questions, lots of 5-point scale questions). If that is approved, you should get a call from someone to clarify what departments and locations you're interested in. You'll then get scheduled for an interview with HR at the location(s) you applied for. After that, you go for an interview with at least one member of the Education department and at least one manager from the department. If that goes well, you should be in. Be warned, everything except for Med/Surg will require a 24 month $13,500 contract. Also, be aware that, yes, this is a very exhaustive process and you will feel like you're "this close" to getting something. Don't let it get you down if you don't.

    Interview Questions
    • The HR interview is standard issue, no real problem. Whatever department you go for will have its education person/people there shooting very specific questions.   View Answer
