    I worked at ForeScout Technologies full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    The company provides a very rich set of technologies that solve customer problems like no other company I worked for. The revenue growth as well as customer satisfaction from the product never cease to amaze me. It's almost magical.

    Cons

    The company has been growing rapidly and adding many new people. Allowing all the new hires to find their spot and contribute proved to be a challenging task. This would probably resolve over the next year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hiring all the talent you can get is not always the optimal policy. Spend more time on where you hire and how you get those new hires run at full speed before adding more employees.

    Interview Details

    Worked with outside agency that ForeScout uses for screening/hiring. Interviewed with agency, then 3 contacts at the company. Interviews were to the point and clear on what they were looking for, as well as focused on my skills and what I felt I could benefits I could bring to the company.

    • "Beer or wine guy?" But truly, questions were not unexpected or difficult, as they were very relaxed and focused on what they department and company needed out of this position.   View Answer

    Offer extended by the hiring manager. Questions were encouraged, and they were very helpful in discussing any concerns that I had. I was weighing two offers, but ForeScout had a better overall package, and showed a better commitment to their employees.
