I have been working at Frank N. Magid Associates, Inc full-time (More than 3 years)RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEORecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO
Depending on the office you report to, Magid can be the most, rewarding, inspiring and collaborative place. Everything they do is in the best interest of their clients. The people on the team I work with are always thinking outside the box and make sure to go above and beyond and really help each other and get along. Really smart people work here!
A major part of what they do is understand consumer behavior. Unfortunately, consumers do not live, work and play in a 9a-5p window so this is not a standard office job. There can be late nights, long hours and a lot of travel. If you are looking for a job to clock in and out of, this is not the place.
There are several offices and they all have a different vibe. A few are stuck in a rut and don't believe in training or innovating. Opportunities for growth also vary by office.
Advice to Management
Embrace training and look for ways to create more of team environment in all offices.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks – interviewed at Frank N. Magid Associates, Inc.
I applied online and was contacted almost immediately by phone. I had two phone interviews before being asked for an in-office interview. Travel expenses were paid by the company. Process was very informal and I met with and was interviewed by many random employees. Questions seemed ill-prepared and meaningless.
- Why I would be a good fit for the company? 1 Answer
Waited a few weeks for the offer and finally received a random phone call. There was no negotiation and no vacation for the first 6 months of employment. Three days the following 6 months. I would recommend others try to negotiate more paid time off before accepting.
