Who We Are?

Freedom Financial Network is a growing group of over 500 employees – known internally as “The Freedom Family.” We’re energetic, smart & compassionate - but most importantly we’re all about helping our customers with innovative financial solutions. Freedom was founded in 2002 by Stanford Business School graduates Andrew Housser and Bradford Stroh and since that foundation over 10 years ago, our Company has built the best management team in our industry. Freedom works out of two offices in San Mateo, California and Phoenix, Arizona. Our customers are spread widely across the United States, and span many financial services products.

What We Do?

We help people improve their financial well being through multiple groups, including: Bills.com, Freedom Debt Relief, Freedom Tax Relief, Golden Road Financial, ConsolidationPlus, FreedomPlus and our investment arm. This might mean helping consumers get out of debt for the least possible personal cost or it may be conducting financial consultations, educating Americans on their options and recommending the appropriate solutions for their personal needs. Our core services offer an alternative to bankruptcy, credit counseling, and traditional debt consolidation. We've always approached the business from the human perspective and represent the consumer exclusively (not the banks or other agendas) – we become your number one advocate helping you re-establish solid financial footing as quickly as possible.

We are on the Board of Directors of the leading debt  industry association, the American Fair Credit Council (AFCC), focused on elevating business standards and industry regulation.  We also take a leadership role in our communities with active support and actions to help our teammates, clients, and communities... something we've taken great pride in since our foundation.

We also understand that the health and benefits requirements of you and your family are unique, so we offer a variety of options to accommodate the needs of everyone on our team. As a Freedom Financial employee, you can be confident your needs will be met, your hard work recognized, and your loyalty rewarded.

 

Medical

There are several plans available to Freedom employees, to provide the flexibility for you to choose the option that is right for you. Depending on location, employees can select from two health providers – Aetna or Kaiser. Aetna offerings include an HMO, POS and a HDHP. In addition, you may participate in the Flexible Spending and Dependent Care programs that provide pre-tax savings on benefit contributions.

Vision

Our generous vision plan annually provides for exams, frames, lenses or contacts. You can choose vision coverage under the Vision Service Plan (VSP) or use the provider of your choice. VSP has the most extensive network of optometrists and vision care specialists in the country.

Dental

Our dental plans offer sound traditional coverage with a higher benefit network option available. Dental coverage is available through Guardian and has both in-network & out-of-network coverage options.

401(k)

Our annual Freedom "Employee Satisfaction Survey" is a part of our culture, deeply ingrained to solicit feedback and then take actions on what our teammates need, in order to constantly improve our culture.  A few years ago many people asked for a long-term retirement plan, in the form of a 401(k) - and we listened!  We now offer a Mass Mutual administered 401(k) plan, with company match.


Life Insurance

Our coverage provides employees 1X their annual base salary, at no cost to the employee, when they participate in the group medical plan. You can also buy up for additional levels of coverage by selecting options under our "Voluntary/Supplemental Benefits" program.

Voluntary / Supplemental Benefits

Our benefits plans can also be extended through supplemental benefits packages, with optional services that include long term care, disability, renters, auto, accident & pet insurance.

Employee Assistance Programs

Offered through Life’s Solutions, the Employee Assistance Programs at Freedom are available to employees and their immediate family members.

Freedom Financial Network (FFN) and the leadership team really care about our employees' well being from both a personal and career level.     Pros

    Work timings and flexibility - I worked from 7:30 to 3:30 and loved the flexibility and work life balance that this provided
    Environment that encourages and is open to new ideas - senior management was consistently open and encouraging of the way projects were being run
    Culture that appreciates performance

    Cons

    Processes for development and process related projects need to be defined. Credit should go to the management that this need is recognized and strong steps are being taken to bring more definition to the way projects are run.

    I applied through a recruiter – interviewed at Freedom Financial Network.

    Interview Details

    I was contacted by a recruiter while working for a competitor and was set up to interview. He also helped me re-format my resume to look more professional. I spoke with the Recruiter for a few minutes when I came in and he really helped me relax so I wasn't so nervous when I met with the Hiring Manager. I met with the Manager of the department for about 20 minutes and was given a job offer on the spot.
