    Application Details

    I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at Freedom Wireless in May 2013.

    Interview Details

    There isn't a phone screen involved in this interview process. If they like your application, the HR representative will call you to schedule an interview at the store.
    Come to the interview with a copy of your resume (they may not have one available) and dressed business professional (suit coat for men). When you arrive, you will have to fill out another application onsite before the interview.
    The interview with the district manager is very casual - He was a great guy that will put you at ease. He will ask about your previous job experiences, and again this is an interview where you need to come prepared with specific examples from your past. Also, expect him to ask you follow-up questions from your examples. This guy is really sharp, so you will not be able to pull together a story and slide by (I did not do this, but being a hiring manager myself, I know people sometimes try). He is listening to everything you say, and will ask you to elaborate or other specific things regarding experiences you share.
    Something else he is looking for is longevity at previous jobs. If you have breaks in your job history, or haven't stayed with a particular position for a long period of time, be prepared to explain the circumstances.
    After the interview, he will set the expectation that you will hear back whether you did or did not get the job. This is actually true - you will hear either way, much appreciated!
