    Pros

The school has created a positive and safe atmosphere. G-Star's administrative staff, especially the principal, has a developed a clear direction and provided amazing guidance to students in preparation for both their educational and professional futures. G-Star is a comfortable, judgement-free environment where you can voice your opinion and be heard. I am happy to know that I am valued as an employee, my work is contributing to something great, and that I can accomplish my tasks without being micro-managed.

    Cons

There can be times when the demand are heavy, but I am thankful to have a supervisor and support staff that believe in my abilities to handle any and all tasks at hand.

    Advice to Management

Strive to create a School Sponsoring Body where administrative staff, teachers, parents, students, and alumni work together to meet the needs of the students.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at G-Star School of the Arts (West Palm Beach, FL).

    Interview

I was interviewed by a panel of teachers. All of whom asked questions about my professional experience in the television/film field which I was trying to leave on my own, I was still employed as a television producer/director but was looking for a change and a new challenge where my production experience could be passed on to others. I was taught by an experienced production teacher and was told by him I would make a good teacher. I took his advice 22 years later.
