I have been working at GEP full-time (more than 3 years)

GEP is a tough place to work, but rewarding. They have very high expectations and standards, at times bordering on unrealistic, but those who put their head down and work hard can build very successful careers here. Definitely not the place for slackers or people who would prefer to coast on other's accomplishments. They will push you hard, but you will learn more here than anywhere else, and you will be rewarded for the hard work and loyalty.

    Other pros:
    Benefits plans are fairly generous
    Huge potential for salary growth
    Strong industry and functional expertise

Starting salaries can be a bit lower than the market average, but this is quickly made up with generous bonuses and raises.

Work hard, play hard culture can have its drawbacks

Consulting group is heavily favored over other functions

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Technology, outsourcing, back office functions are just as crucial to your success as the consultants. More realistic targets and goal-setting should be practiced.

Received a call from HR and scheduled an interview for the next day. I was interviewed by the HR rep and then separately interviewed by the IT Manager/Admin and the head of IT Infrastructure.

General questions about my previous experience and my familiarity with technologies used by the company. It was pretty straight forward.
