    I have been working at GKN Sinter Metals full-time (More than a year)


    There is really great money to be made.


    When they are busy you will work every weekend and as soon as business slowed down they start "cutting costs". There's an extreme amount of favoritism shown and last but not least it is a male dominated work environment so women are very rarely listened to or taken seriously.

    I applied through college or university – interviewed at GKN Sinter Metals.


    I attended a career fair at my university and spoke to a recruiter who seemed to like my resume. One thing that he said stood out to him was my major in German. He then scheduled me for an interview. There were two interviewers: one who asked behavioral questions and one who asked technical questions. After about 4 weeks, I found out that I had not been selected for the position.

    • They asked many behavioral questions followed by a few technical questions concerning the function and manufacturing processes of an unknown metal object. I later found out that the object was used in the driveshaft of a car.   Answer Question
