    Pros

    The people at GSN are what make it great. The culture is one of hard work in the day, but frequent company outings on weekends and after work. There are company sponsored ball games, wine tastings, sailing trips, etc. The work is engaging and interesting in marketing at least. Can't speak to dev.

    Cons

    There can be a push to finish crazy projects quickly.

    I applied online – interviewed at GSN (Game Show Network).

    The weirdest and most rudely conducted interview I have ever had. Step 1: Recruiter calls me and talks. Says your profile is good. I will connect you with hiring manager. Step 2: Hiring manager talks on Skype for an hour and says you have everything we are looking for. Step 3: I am scheduled for an onsite interview. The schedule for onsite interview is like this a) Do an Analytics Test b) Meet 2 Analysts and the hiring manager I do the Analytics test, which I feel I did pretty accurately. The first analyst walks in and asks me a few quantitative question. Now comes the weird part. The coordinator comes in and tells me that we will have to stop the interview here itself and the recruiter will get to you if there are any next steps. Highly Highly unprofessional thing to do. If you want to base hiring decision on an analytics test, have a day to do the analytics test before calling for onsite interviews. I would never want to work at a company like this that is so unprofessional.
