    I worked at Gainesville Regional Utilities full-time (more than 3 years)


    All joking aside, GRU was a great place to work. I loved interacting with different departments and learning about the structure of city government as well as the utility industry. Great retirement and health benefits.


    There was little progression through training and I felt pigeon-holed into my position.

    Look internally for the talent you have in-house and invest in that talent.
