    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Galileo Processing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very unique environment, a lot of creativity and urging to be individual. The staff members were pretty close-knit and everyone knew everybody. Almost like a family, we had regular barbecues, potlucks, lunch outings, etc.

    Cons

Would get crazy busy at times. The CEO is a very, very intelligent guy but he was a micro manager and would tend to focus on a specific task for months at a time, almost to the detriment of his other business units; this burnt a lot of bridges with other management staff who eventually left the organization. Would go through crazy "clean house" exercises where staff members were fired without warning.

    Advice to Management

Don't be a yes man, don't only cater to the higher ups, nor the clientele, listen to the employees too.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Galileo Processing.

    Interview

Lengthy and convoluted. They are in dire need of resources so they do not fully vet out new staff. Go in, get the job, and plan to leave within 18 months.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

Just a call with the HR Rep. Low ball at first but they ended up meeting my asking price.
