    Pros

Good company to work for overall. Great experience working at such a large property. Very nice hotel.

    Cons

Union environment. Did not get much support from HR. Shop stewards were TERRIBLE. Have worked in other union environments and it was nowhere near as bad as this place!

    Advice to Management

Have a backbone in regards to the union. Couldn't believe how much they got away with. There were a few that were worse than others, but most were bad.

Gaylord Entertainment may be hollerin' for attention in the hospitality game, but it's no corporate hayseed. Its properties consist of resort hotels tethered closely to attractions that appeal to the meetings and conventions market. They include The Radisson Hotel at Opryland and the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center (home to the Gaylord Springs golf course), both in Nashville; the Gaylord Palms Resort in Florida (close to Disney World); and the Gaylord Texan Resort near Dallas. It also owns the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in the Washington, DC... More
