I worked at Gaylord Entertainment full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Great culture, genuinely cares about staff (they are called STARS), free lunch daily, good work life balance.

    Cons

As you can expect in ANY hospitality job, hours are sometimes long, and you will at some point miss a Christmas/other holiday.

Its properties consist of resort hotels tethered closely to attractions that appeal to the meetings and conventions market. They include The Radisson Hotel at Opryland and the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center (home to the Gaylord Springs golf course), both in Nashville; the Gaylord Palms Resort in Florida (close to Disney World); and the Gaylord Texan Resort near Dallas.
