I have been working at George Washington University

The university will cover a large percentage of tuition should you decide to further your education while working at GW

Red tape at every turn. Health benefits are not all that great considering GW has their own health care system.

    Neutral Outlook

    Interview Details

The interview process started very quickly and the eDesign Team was very eager to have me interview. During the interview itself I met the whole team and the process felt encouraging. This was a creative position, so they asked me to complete a video project to be completed within a week. I was encouraged to ask questions about the project and did. I sent them a digital version and a link on YouTube, as well as any supporting materials I had.

Upon delivering the project I received no response, not even a confirmation that my project had been received. I reached out to make sure they had gotten my materials, noticing that the unlisted video on Youtube had several hits, and received no response.

I found their lack of response after putting a significant amount of time and effort on their project unprofessional.

The George Washington University's name is just one more reminder of the regard the nation holds for its first president. Chartered by the US Congress in 1821 as The Columbian College in the District of Columbia, the university adopted its present name in 1904. The private, coeducational university's more than 25,000 students are scattered across its primary campus at Foggy Bottom as well as its campuses in Mount Vernon and Ashburn, Virginia. The school's student-teacher ratio is about 15:1. Its academic programs run the gamut from business to law to medicine. Notable... More
