I have been working at Gigunda Group full-time for more than 5 years

Positive work environment, great motivated staff, compensation and benefits that most companies don't offer like office shut downs during 4th of July and Christmas weeks and company paid lunches, snack bar, 401k match. We have a fun office space and the company gives the employees complete transparency on what is going on with the business financially.

Like any company there can be long days/nights, but the company will compensate you for any time worked out of the scope of a normal business week.

    Account Executive Interview

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at Gigunda Group.

    Interview Details

Initial communication was a phone introduction that went very well. I had reservations based on the awful company reviews I read on here - but due to the enjoyable phone introduction, I held out some hope that perhaps it may be a changing culture - different from that described in the reviews.

At the in-person interview I was kept waiting for almost 30 mins before someone came to speak with me. I rotated through meeting with a few different people, and throughout the entire time I could tell this place is severely disorganized and has awful internal communication. People didn't know who I should be seeing next, didn't even know I was coming that day, hadn't looked at my resume - and then on top of that one person told me they felt I would better fit in an entry-level position b/c they wanted me to 'prove' myself first. Note I have over 6 years of solid experience, and this 'Director' had to be the same age as me.

One of the Directors told me her new initiative was that client phone calls or emails had to be answered immediately - regardless of what the answer you are giving them is. Ummmmmmmmmm.........really bad news when that's a new initiative. How do they stay in business?

Heinous health coverage as well. Since when is a $9,000 deductible a health plan??

    Reasons for Declining

I received an offer for a 2nd round of interviews, but was told they believed I was a better fit for an entry level position - which is highly insulting to me having over 6 years of progressive solid experience.
