I have been working at Grab Media full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A very fast and growing company with very clear focus and targets. Amazing product line and colleagues watch this space grab media is going to be huge and I am exited to be a part of it's future.

    Cons

Because grab is growing so fast we may be taken over by someone like yahoo or WPP which can provide some uncertainty.

    Advice to Management

    Continue providing staff clear targets

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grab Media (New York, NY).

    Interview

My interview process started with an email and phone screen with a recruiter. I then came to the recruiter's office for an in-person interview. I then had to come back to the recruiter's office for an interview with a Grab employee. Then, I had a long interview at the Grab office in NYC, followed by another long interview at the Sterling, VA office. I interviewed with three people while I was there, but spent most of my time interviewing with one person. They all had different questions and talking points. The interview in NYC and VA went well, it was less like an interview, and more like a conversation to get to know one another.

    Interview Questions

    • I was asked to write a JS function on a whiteboard. It was an easy question, but coding on a whiteboard while someone is watching you is really awkward.   1 Answer

    Negotiation

They low-balled. I negotiated, and they offered slightly more (not much), and a bonus.
