I have been working at Graduate Theological UnionRecommendsRecommends
Very professionally run working environment. Many long term employees are at the school that can be both a benefit with their in depth understanding of operations and at times be a detriment from their resistance to changes. Overall there is general desire and commitment by all to provide a quality learning experience to a very diverse group of students from a Consortium of higher educational theological schools. Beautiful location. Great benefits. Lots of paid holidays. The Executive Management seems to honestly value employees and their professional contribution to the school. The school supports and encourages ongoing growth and development for employees.
Can be challenging working in an environment consisting of multiple member schools. Inter-school politics can be draining and damaging to employee moral.
Advice to Management
Clarify governance structure. Clarify short term and long term requirements from member schools. clarify commitment to the Consortium from all schools.
