I worked at Grand Pacific Resorts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A great organization to learn from . They are rapid growing which gives plenty of room for growth. The cons are just symptoms of growing to rapidly which I feel will get addressed, If you give it some time I believe that this company will get it together.

    Cons

The buddy system is definitely in play. If you do n ot hang out and go drinking you are left to clean up their messes. Upper management seems great but unaware of things at resort level. Only 1 person in HR for shift through complaints. Pay is on the Low side I

    Advice to Management

Get more HR reps and have them visit other properties weekly. Don't make it that the only time hr is present on property is when someone's in trouble.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Grand Pacific Resorts.

    Interview

Found position on Craigslist. Emailed resume to supervisor, got an interview a week later. Asked general questions about previous job and experience and explained what is expected of you in your role. Filled out the application after and had to do a background check and drug test. Basically said if you pass, you should be hired.
