    Pros

    Lots of Learning.. Being part of peoples lives in times of trauma.. Networking.. Location.. Overtime .. Fast paced... Mostly good co workers.. PTO...90% tuition reimbursement..new CEO will not be a stranger and will chat with you on the floor. A few administrators are The same way and friendly they have made some good changes.

    Cons

    "Don't give raises based on performance" ... Attendance policy is insane. On 7 the absence in a year you are fired. Absences with doctors note from own e.r. after being seen still counts as absence point. No one is held accountable for laziness and no one is rewarded for hard work. Start from scratch on how e.r. runs and RNs having mandatory 4 12 hour shifts in all parts of hospital. RNs get big bonus pay for picking up shifts or working crisis days but no other support staff does.

    Advice to Management

    You are loosing your best employees left and right in all departments. You are lowest paying but busiest hospital on area ! Value employees and their health as much as you value growth and numbers.
