I have been working at Grand Valley State University

    Pros

There are a ton of resources (obviously because it is a college) and you get to work with people with may different backgrounds and areas of focus.

    Cons

Efficiency does not seem to be a part of the culture. Departments should be able to work with others to share resources and expertise and then create the best solution to a problem but that doesn't seem to happen.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More focus on getting departments to share.
