    Pros

Marketing is excellent. Access to training on how to develop your business by seasoned employees and shared to all. On boarding is very efficient and organized. They make you fell welcomed.

    Cons

A lot to learn in terms of material. It is good, you will need to invest your time in learning---if that is considered a con.

    Advice to Management

keep the open line communication and continue to share best practices. Have score cards for management as well as for sales for review and improvement.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at Guaranteed Rate (Chicago, IL) in March 2015.

    Interview

A recruiter called me for a phone screen. After the initial phone screen I was scheduled for an in person interview with the VP of Mortgage Lending ( a title they appear to be handing out left and right to loan processors). The first VP I interviewed with was 20 minutes late because he was taking a CrossFit class, I was disappointed with his lack of professionalism. I did not get the job and was scheduled to meet with another VP for a similar role. This interview was unethical and possibly illegal. The VP had the audacity to ask me how many sick days I took last year. Upon further research, I found out that it's a illegal to ask applicants that question. He also asked if I would be willing to work overtime (I understand that the mortgage industry is a fast paced industry, but I have no desire to work over 12+ hours a day for a company that probably has a VERY HIGH turnover rate). This VP also had me take a personality test which he "graded" on the spot. I did not get this position, but was not even notified that he chose to go with another candidate. Instead, the recruiting coordinator scheduled me for another interview with a different VP. At this point, I decided to accept an offer from another company.
