I have been working at GulfMark Offshore full-time (more than 3 years)

Various schedules, decent equipment, decent salary, decent benefits.

Subordinate crew members seem to run the vessel with little ability to get rid of the situation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more loyal and listen to your vessel officers.

I applied through other source. The process took a dayinterviewed at GulfMark Offshore in April 2014.

    Interview Details

Was called in for interview and was a waste of my time and travel. Had been a prior employee and was contacted by head office to go in for position. Was warned by other prior individuals it would be waste of time, they do not hire "OLD" people there. Orders came from head office. They were right, got there went through the interview and was told they would contact me. Never happened. Was over from the start due to my age.

    Interview Questions
    • No difficult questions, was just a formality interview and never heard from them again. Found it to be very disrespectful of them.   View Answer
