You have tonnes of exposure with people and situations from all of the world. If you work in hotel sourcing or sales you will also have a chance to travel occasionally or on regular basis (depending on your location and role) for work.
The company currently has a great outlook and is investing in the right technology to be fit for the future.
Competition can be fierce in this business, but GTA is still considered one of the leaders in the industry by hoteliers and peers.Cons
Not many of your friends will know or understand where you work, as GTA does business purely for B2B clients.
Workload can be quite heavy and despite the leadership being quite good, some of the medium level managers might not have the right nurturing to be effective people managers always.
It's quite a steep learning curve to fully understand the business which GTA is today, and it's relationship with hotels as well as clients. Training is getting better on this though.
Speaking/writing English well is really a must to be able to communicate easily across the world.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Focus on mid level management to nurture and coach them into being better people managers. I see senior leaders go to training etc often enough, but the people who really need it might miss out which sometimes leads to disgruntled line staff.RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO
