    Pros

The Income course is fast paced. But if you stick to the assignments, not hard to get through. Very well designed curriculum to cover individual returns.

    Cons

They pay minimum wage rate $7-$10 /hr for the first year you work with them. Which seems to be very low for such a responsible work of filing returns.

    Advice to Management

I had an overall positive learning experience. Keep up the good work. Their new software BlockWorks really needs to be refined.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at H&R Block (Kansas City, MO) in August 2015.

    Interview

Very laid back, asked about myself and described the position. Went over my resume to discuss my background and fit for the position. Followed by an opportunity to ask questions about the positions as well as answer specific questions about myself and ability to perform position duties
