Former Employee - Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer in Boulder, CO

I worked at HGST full-time (more than a year)

Good benefits. The team I worked with was knowledgeable and my manager was the best I had through my 35 year career in disc drives.

Upper management couldn't seem to plan how to lead the company. Poor planning lead to lay offs which I was victim of.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to do a better job of analyzing the market and lead the company into the future.
