There is a reason why that if someone leaves they often return to work at HMC. It's the people that make the place and HMC feels like family. Colleagues are genuinely kind and civil, respectful and professional towards each other. Everyone works very hard but they believe in work / life balance. The firm is celebrating it's 75th anniversary this year and there's a reason why it has grown and continues to thrive to this day. In fact HMC has so much work right now that it is hiring for positions in its offices throughout California. You should love your work and at HMC are very invested in the firm and in each other.

The firm has had a bit of turnover in the last few years because of the economic downturn but this year it has completely re-bounded. There is a sense of enthusiasm and excitement as more and more project wins come to fruition.

    Advice to Management

I think management is doing a pretty good job. They work hard, try their best and are invested in everyone's success.
