Good people. Ok working environment. Decent systems.

No support from upper management. Company does not value their employees.

    Easy Interview

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Hanover Direct (Weehawken, NJ).

I came into the office and spent about 4 hours meeting with various folks on the Marketing, Finance, and HR teams. The interview was cordial and friendly. No particularly difficult questions were asked. I think it was a fairly simple process because I had previously worked there and knew the people conducting the interviews from prior experience.

If catalogs are junk mail, then Hanover Direct is one big junkyard dog. Mailing more than 180 million catalogs a year, the company sells home fashions (The Company Store, Company Kids, Domestications), as well as men's and women's apparel (International Male, Silhouettes, and Undergear). Each catalog has a corresponding e-commerce site. The company makes Scandia Down brand comforters and pillows for sale in its catalogs, on its websites, and several retail outlet stores in Wisconsin. Hanover Direct is owned by the New York-based hedge fund Chelsey Capital.
