Quality at HansgroheMade in Germany branded products
Around 80% of Hansgrohe production takes place in Southern Germany – in a total of five plants in Schiltach and Offenburg. This despite the fact that Hansgrohe achieves around 80% of its sales revenue abroad. The question is, why does a company with a broad international base still produce in Germany – when it would seem to be more cost-effective to produce all over the world? The answer from the Black Forest is: because we count on German expertise and offer our customers a guarantee of quality.
Man and environment are the central focus of Hansgrohe quality management
The company upholds its quality guarantee by means of consistent quality management. Made in Germany has always been Hansgrohe’s recipe for success. For more than 100 years, the bathroom professionals from the Black Forest have only used high-quality materials, and undertaken research and development in a trendsetting way – all as a matter of course. Finally, Hansgrohe considers your health, safety and well-being more important than anything else.
“Made by Hansgrohe” stands for:
- High product quality and functionality
- Technological expertise
- Top design
- Durable products
- Environmentally-friendly products and manufacturing methods
- Qualified specialists
- Customer-oriented service

Optimum production processes – the zero-error principle
At Hansgrohe, top priority is given to customer benefit and satisfaction. The principle “quality is when the customer comes back and the product doesn’t” has been firmly established by means of process-oriented workflows. Quality management, conducted at close intervals, ensures top product and service quality in all Hansgrohe plants worldwide. Hansgrohe has its system inspected by internationally recognized certification authorities, and is certified according to the international quality standard ISO 9001.
Made in Germany stands for both the art of engineering and workmanship. In order that all branded products are as perfect as possible in both form and function, Hansgrohe thinks and acts according to the zero-error principle. EVERYONE in the company is responsible for this. All skilled workers, office workers and service staff are therefore given the best possible basic and further training. The company came out to the mt universities career fair back in March. In May I received a call with them saying they would like to schedule a phone interview. On the phone interview there were two interviewers asking basic interview questions but also questions about quality and my education. It lasted for an hour and they said they would be back with me in a few business days. I heard back from them and they brought me in for a face to face interview. I was given a tour of the manufacturing plant and then taken to the panel to be interviewed.Interview Questions
