I worked at Health First full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Currently good financial position, and has a modern infrastructure. The area has positive quality of life amenities that make it good place to live and work

    Cons

High stress culture driven by short term focus on bottom line at the expense of long term employee development and engagement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop trust by supporting your leadership team and encouraging risk taking and innovation .Focus on learning from failures versus placing blame. Leverage the positive aspects of the pre-existing culture to build trust and collaboration, versus distrust and personal agenda's.
