I worked at Health & Beauty Cosmetic full-time (More than 5 years)
Customers and they are repeating customers because you have to have body wash, deodorants, toothpaste and etc. these are monthly and weekly necessities and you get to know your customers well.
I have not had any downsides I enjoyed my job.
Advice to Management
When you judge or if you are to have to fire someone or lay someone off let it be your decision to do so. Do not fire someone because you let another person influence you to do it. Because you could be firing someone who has had a rough time in there life for no reason at all. Me I have been through so much in my life I did not deserve to loose my job because I stood up for myself and asked a superior member of management a question about my responsibilities and there response was how should you know how to do this IRR report and Management themselves don't even know how to. And every since then this Loss Prevention Lead had a vendetta against me, for me to loose my job, well I hope she is happy I have and now I am struggling to find and new job, makes ends meet, to put food on the table and to keep a roof over me and my kids head. I swore that life could not get any worse for me. All my life I have been done wrong. But as they say what goes around comes around. So I give this advice I hope that any member of management will take into considerations of your workers accountability and work efforts not through influence of someone who think they are above the law.
