I worked at HealthTronics as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Very family friendly environment. People were very friendly. Made good friends there and didn't want to leave. Managers were mindful of employee limitations and since I was in IT I heard a lot of gossip. Almost no one complained about their manager.

    Cons

Recent mergers and then spinoffs has left company somewhat unstable financially. However this is being remedied at this time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look to the future. An external Service desk should be formed. A tier 1 service desk should be created to handle minor issues before passing to desktop support.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at HealthTronics in April 2011.

    Interview Details

Resume had to be uploaded from website. Had a phone interview with HR representative approximately 2 weeks later. Was told to await a contact call from someone that would be setting up face to face interview. After a couple of emails, and a call from the hiring manager, it was clear that there was a mis-communication on their part. Interview was set for the following day. Met with the hiring manager for 30 minutes in conference room. Was offered the position later that afternoon via telephone.
