Privately held and reasonably large company that provides many different opportunities for smart people. Smart work is well rewarded in my personal experience.

As with any reasonably sized company, Hearst can at times provide a safe haven for people who are doing little and hiding in the corners. Keeping people motivated is challenging and sometimes frustrating.

    Difficult Interview

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hearst Corporation (New York, NY).

Multiple interviews may be required. HR doesn't try to sell on the company by explaining all the benefits. Best way is in to find someone you know who works there

    Interview Questions

Yes. More open to negotiate on vacation time then salary.
