I have been working at Hecla Mining full-time

    Pros

The company culture is very relaxed and allows for the employees to get their work done without a manager hovering over you. The benefits are excellent, although becoming less so to "meet what the market is doing", but overall still better than most places.

    Cons

Sometimes things aren't addressed because the culture is a little too loose, but better than having managers checking every little thing you do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure all departments are included in projects to make sure everything is considered.

The company's Greens Creek gold/silver/zinc/lead mine in Alaska had been a joint venture with Rio Tinto until Hecla... More
