  • My experience was both rewarding and draining. For the most part, I felt the company was unstable.

    Pros

I liked meeting new people and making connections.

    Cons

Lots of driving, some early and late hours, deadlines, and pressure to produce stories

    Advice to Management

Completely remodel & revamp newspaper to be more relevant or the company will crumble.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Herald Sun (Raleigh, NC).

    Interview

There really wasn't a process. I sent my resume in for the position, and was called in to discuss the position further. They are more concerned with a person fitting into the culture than the actual experience that person has.

    Interview Questions

    • Just the usual behavioral ones. Tell me a weakness, strength, when you over came a challenge, how would react to a client that wants to cancel their program.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

No negotiations, but it never hurts to try
