The best internship for a conservative aspiring to a career in public policy and a true introduction to working life in DC. The combination of working experience, exposure to the latest policy research by some of the best scholars in their fields, and opportunities to network and develop essential skills for future employment make the Heritage internship unparalleled.

It creates exceptionally high expectations for the culture of a future work environment.

I applied online – interviewed at Heritage Foundation.

Was contacted for one phone interview. Asked very basic questions about my research experience, preferred sources for research, and my background. It was really pleasant to speak with the staff member over the phone. I just talked about my life/professional experiences, there were not too many difficult questions.
