I worked at Heritage Foundation full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great minds. Willing to expand responsibilities and allow to grow. Well organized and good communication of expectations. One of my best working environments.

    Cons

Salary made it somewhat difficult to live in the high-cost DC area. Yearly increase in salary was not significant for entry positions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To encourage retainment, allow greater pay scale as reflects hard work and loyalty.

I applied online – interviewed at Heritage Foundation.

    Interview Details

Was contacted for one phone interview. Asked very basic questions about my research experience, preferred sources for research, and my background. It was really pleasant to speak with the staff member over the phone. I just talked about my life/professional experiences, there were not too many difficult questions.
