    Pros

Friendly people, they will work with you on what you want to learn, $12 an hour, discounts, fun environment. I would highly recommend.

    Cons

Wasn't much of a chance to get a full time position after the internship. Sometimes was not much to do and had to try to come up with random things on your own that did not matter much.

    Advice to Management

Possibly come up with a checklist for the interns to complete before they are done with their internship. Include items that they will use in the future and could help in a future job.

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Hickory Farms.

    Interview

easy phone interview, and then a brief personal interview with location manager. They basically just ask you a few questions about your work history and why you want to work at hickory farms. It took me about 10 minutes on the phone, and about 15 minutes in-person interview. Very very easy interview. Offered the job on the spot. Don't need a lot of experience.
