I have been working at Highmark full-time (more than 10 years)

Work ethic and passion to serve the community is second to none. Respect for innovation and contribution to the company mission and vision; every employee is valuable and counts.

Major changes in work week hours, vacation time, tuition reimbursement and alluding that employees can do more and have not contributed 100% prior to the change in leadership. Value and acknowledge the passion that employees have had prior to the changes. It causes a sense of lack of appreciation of the tremendous talent that exists at Highmark.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change management should start with an assessment of what is working or an opportunity to identify what is working without constantly making changes without measure of original results. It makes us look unstable when we constantly change platforms and never show positive results of the prior platform.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at Highmark in September 2014.

    Interview Details

Applied online, received an email about 1 week later advising, I was invited to schedule an interview time. I met with one of the supervisors in the coding department. The interview consisted of situational questions. The interviewer was knowledgable about the position. When I asked about the salary range, she had no clue, which was odd. Overall it was professional.
