I worked at Holmes Place as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Really helpful management, fun creative assignments. I really enjoyed working in this marketing program. I learned a lot about leads.

    Cons

Very informal. Sometimes I didn't have work to do for a few days and I would have to make up some assignments. Overall, it wasn't so bad though

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a more regimented rotational program so employees can develop skills.

It decreased the size of its business considerably when it sold its UK health clubs to Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Active fitness clubs chain in 2007. As a result, more than 45 clubs were rebranded from Holmes Place to Virgin... More
