    I have been working at Home Buyers Warranty full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Clear expectations are set, help is always available and the product is the best in the market. Every single person I've met and worked with in the company (50-100 individuals) has been very friendly, professional and helpful. Great schedule and balance... especially for a sales position.

    Cons

    Traffic is pretty rough in every direction during rush hour. I read a few reviews about pay being too low....tough cookies. Negotiate for higher pay or find a better paying job elsewhere. If you aren't smart enough to figure that out, then you probably aren't worth what you are currently making.

    Offer recruiting bonus for bringing in new employees.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took a weekinterviewed at Home Buyers Warranty in December 2014.

    Interview Details

    After submitting my resume, I was contacted by email, given an online skills assessment and invited for an interview. The interview took about an hour (it could have been faster but we are both talkers). As it was a sales interview, I went for a close on the position and was advised that they needed to talk to their boss before making an offer. I was offered the job the next day.

    • I don't remember any particularly tough questions. Standard sales interview stuff like "Give an example of a time that you had to change your sales process to earn a sale"   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
    Not much negotiating... In hindsight, I may have been able to get a little more but I really needed the job so I didn't want to miss the opportunity over a couple bucks.
