Honeywell Aerospace is a decent workplace with some nice perks and horrible benefits.

    Pros

Opportunities to practice and engage in different departments to learn new skill sets. Travel to remote sites can be fun and interesting. Dining cafe located within the facility. Bravo award system is nice for earning cash compensation.

    Cons

Too much micro-management (daily email status reports, daily system status sheets, daily morning standups; to include safety topics not pertaining to work, enforced process improvements; minimum count yearly, enforced safety calls; minimum count yearly) requires extra time and effort to meet company standards.

Benefits are atrocious requiring a high amount of out of pocket expenses.

    Advice to Management

Stop forcing employees a minimum count of safety catches by encouraging them to participate through other means. Same goes with process improvement ideas, don't base promotions or annual reviews on a minimum count. Please consider another carrier for benefits. Every employee knows this needs to change, every employee.

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Honeywell.

    Interview

Had a phone interview and interviewer was friendly and made the interview seem not so intimidating. Very easy and general questions. Phone interview was very short, around 11 minutes. They said they would get back to me within a week, but it's been over two weeks and I have not heard anything from them.
