Great location on the water. Salaries and benefits are getting better. Lots of people who have been here for a long time, and have grown with the company. Employees are pretty much trusted to do a good job without lots of micromanagement.

Sometimes run like a smaller company. Formal training programs could be stronger for newly hired people and for managers.

    Advice to Management

Keep going on attention to benefits. Keep growing and giving more people an opportunity to move into new positions.

    Easy Interview

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 dayinterviewed at Hornblower Cruises and Events (San Francisco, CA).

Very easy interview. I guess they have not many people applying. Not professional at all. Dressed professionally but not necessary. Employee handbook doesn't match what upper management strive for. It seems that they don't care following the rules written by them.

    Interview Questions

    • Not difficult at all. I had questions similar to this one. Are you getting sea sick being on a boat?   Answer Question

    Reasons for Declining

Expected a lot for not enough pay.
