I have been working at Houston Community College full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The IT department, as well as, the CIO are very supportive and encouraging. They offer training for anything and try to incorporate your input as much as possible.

    Cons

It's a community college so of course things move slower, but it's to be expected.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 7+ months. I interviewed at Houston Community College (Houston, TX) in September 2014.

    Interview

The interview process was very simple. I was called in to interview one month after the closing date. The interview involved a 2 person panel and most of the questions were fairly simple.
