Very effective company. Terrific leadership with attention to detail and cares for employees. Great company culture. Typically top 3 rated radio or tv stations within the market. Either by market share or in revenue. Highly recommended.
There aren't a whole lot for the company to improve on or negatives. It should be noted that there may be bad days but to remember it's one day in months worth of good days
Advice to Management
Continue to think outside the box. Consider multiple research avenues (e.g., qualitative approaches) vs. analytics and quantitative research exclusively

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a day – interviewed at Hubbard Broadcasting.
It was fairly brief - I came in once for an interview after an initial phone interview. I met with two managers to discuss their news product, and how I could help drive web traffic. They asked multiple questions about my previous newsroom - how we covered breaking news, and the social media platforms we used. There was also a lot of emphasis on the station's brand and maintaining branding across platforms.

This company's cupboard of media assets is anything but bare. Hubbard Broadcasting is a leading television station operator with about 10 stations in Minnesota, New York, and New Mexico. Its portfolio includes ABC affiliate KSTP (Minneapolis/St. Paul) and NBC affiliate WHEC (Rochester, New York).
