I worked at Huntington Beach Union High School District

    Pros

Excellent union contract and very good colleagues who show concern for each other. Above average pay and good benefits, thanks to that strong union. Relatively good management, fair principal. equal treatment of employees.

    Cons

Like other school districts in California, Huntington Beach is suffering severe budget cuts due to the short sighted, anti-education policies of our governor.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

School board leadership needs to stand up to the governor and demand better funding for our schools.
