    Approves of CEO

Atmosphere is pleasant, colleagues are laid-back, competitive salary package for Belgian standards

Heavily outdated IT infrastructure for employees; which is partly understandable, partly questionable for such a big bank. Difficult to get promoted and make a career

    Advice to Management

Offer more opportunities to all young people to advance their careers, not just to management trainees

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ING Belgium (Brussels (Belgium)) in April 2011.

I was hired trough an ex-manager from a previous job that knew my skills very well. Because of this the hiring process was a breeze. After an online skills, language & IQ test I was invited to interview with HR. After HR I talked to my manager in the job. We matched in attitude immediately so it wasn't a very difficult interview. We talked mainly about trends in the market. No business cases or difficult puzzle questions were asked.
