I worked at ION Geophysical (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good People to work with, decent pay and benefits. Team environment.

    Cons

There is no leadership whatsoever. It is a rudderless ship. Upper management chases the next big thing that never materializes. Changes course at will, no long term plan. They will spend tens of thousands of dollars to expedite a project rather than stop and do it correctly in the first place. Lot's of "engineering on the fly".

    Advice to Management

Get some sales people that know what they are doing instead of the good old gang you have now. Look at the results, they are worthless. Get some real leadership that is looking out for the overall good of the company. This is a rudderless, captainless, futureless, company.
